If you’re a frequent Walmart shopper, Walmart Plus (Walmart+) is something you should hear about. This is Walmart’s response, just like Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime is a service with so many benefits that there has long been no competition against it. While Walmart has few advantages over Amazon, with this new Walmart Plus program it plans to drive certain features or leads.
Walmart+ not only has a similar free two-day shipping service but on more than 160,000 packages ranging from software to grocery, customers can get unlimited free shipping. Users can also pay for in-store pricing, which is one of its advantages.
The Walmart Plus service is a new upcoming membership program hosted and sponsored by Walmart. Here you pay an annual fee and get perks. Rumors had it that the new service would be launched during the spring season, but the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic led to a delay in its launching. Even after the delay, it was set to be launched during July and August which also failed to get in place. But however, the new service has finally been launched. Its regular subscription is about $12.95 per month or $98 per year.
What are the Perks of Walmart Plus?
Perks are also referred to as accessible features and services offered by the new service. While there are more perks added to this service over time, there are already plenty of services you can benefit from without a Walmart+ subscription. These benefits include curbside pickup and two-day delivery, also Walmart+ officially launched three major benefits.
Firstly, they included an Unlimited Free Delivery system. Users can get more than 160,000 items from different categories delivered as fast as the same day if that’s available to you. You will have to pay the in-store price for the items, and if you have this service as your Walmart’s Delivery Unlimited, you will be automatically converted to Walmart+ benefiting the same service.
The second perk is titled Scan & Go. The Walmart app can be used to scan items while you are shopping in-store and uses Walmart to pay for the payment. This is a quick and easy experience that will aid your shopping much faster.
Lastly, users will be able to save u t five cents a gallon at nearly 2,00 fuel stations that are under the Walmart, Murphy USA, and Murphy Express. There are more stations to be expanded to in the future.
